Navigation Module 1 – Foundations and Fundamentals

Your journey starts here where we review the foundational principles of evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine. We will also grab some baseline lab work.

We explore how the standard America diet has become the gateway to every chronic condition that plagues us as a society and has become the causal factor for 8 out of the 10 most prolific killers on the CDC’s leading cause of death dataset.  We will discover how the power of plant medicine has the ability to prevent and possibly reverse these diseases of dietary dysfunction.

Navigation Module 2 – Disease Deep Dive 101

This week we dive into your specific condition. We will learn what causes it, examine long and short-term patient outcomes with this chronic condition, and standard patterns of care that are unsuccessful in addressing the root cause of this condition. We will review your lab work and create some very specific goals for the next 6 weeks.

Navigation Module 3 – The Discipline of Intention and Power of Plant Medicine

Your long-term success is dependent upon discovering the importance of living in alignment with things you want most. Whole food, plant predominant nutrition is only one component of a myriad of lifestyle practices that are vital to your long-term health and wellbeing. This week we dive into population studies that explore key lifestyle habits that are crucial to health and longevity.

Navigation Module 4 – The Virtue of Plant Medicine

This week we root cause several chronic conditions and their related pathologies. We will explore the most notable evidence-based research studies through years of revolutionary lifestyle medicine research. We will pay particular attention to your existing diagnosis as we help translate this research personally to your life to obtain the most optimal outcomes.  This week we will plan our first immersion experience together.

Navigation Module 5 – The Power of the Plate

One of the biggest opportunities when transitioning to a new dietary approach is understanding the importance of planning and its influence on decision making. This week we explore caloric density, nutrient density, and how to properly replace foods that you have been accustomed to eating. We explore foods that are specifically helpful and particularly harmful to your diagnosis.   This week is an integral lesson to help prevent pitfalls and support growing energy levels.

Navigation Module 6 – The Gut Microbiome

Gut health translates directly to metabolic health. This week includes some of the most compelling evidence to support your lifestyle transition. We take a deep dive into the gut microbiome and how critical of a role it plays in your overall health. You will have critical key takeaways to help fuel your ongoing journey.     

Navigation Module 7 – Disease Deep Dive 102

This week we will review the fruits of your labor after we look at your second round of lab results. Now that you have a better understanding of your disease process, we will continue to refine your personalized wellness plan in partnership with your physician.

Navigation Module 8 with Immersion Experience– Remembering Your “Why”

During your final week with the Navigation Nutrition Program we will share a meal together and spend some quality time focusing in on some tools to help you continue to nurture all of the skills you have gained over the past 8 weeks. Topics include meal prepping and planning, holiday eating, travel, and how to best avoid setbacks but to also have a healthier relationship with setbacks if they do happen.
